Free Agency 2010
A topic on almost every NBA Fan mind is this off-season. Although we are getting ready to see the Lakers and Celtics clash in the finals for the 12th time some might say the off-season will be more exciting. There is a lot of all star players in this summer's free agent pool.
LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Manu Ginobili, & Amare Stoudemire are some of the major names in the free agent pool. Then There other players that a team will want to have like David Lee, Carlos Boozer, Michael Redd, Joe Johnson, Ray Allen, Rudy Gay and Tracy McGrady. Then there are other good role players that can really help a team like Raymond Felton, Tony Allen, Kenyon Martin, & Shannon Brown. The big question is were is so many of these players going? Some think LeBron, Bosh, Wade, & Stoudemire is going to have a meeting decide were they are going to go. First of all let me say this NO TEAM IN THE NBA CAN AFFORD 3 SUPERSTARS!!!!!!! I was upset when I was in my Neighborhood and heard kids my age talking about Bosh, LeBron, and Wade was all going to the same team. Thats not gonna happen. Although They all free-agents that doesn't mean a thing. It's all about the $MONEY$. In my opinion Bosh is def going to the Knicks. Now the question is do we get LeBron. I really want LeBron but if not I could go with Joe Johnson. I can't wait until July 1st. July 1st is the first day of free agency. I want to see were all these star players end up. I really wanna see who the Knicks is gonna get. But Until then we will jus have to wait until that day

Draft Time Rolling Around

Well the Wizards came away with the number one draft pick (We all knew the Nets wasn't going to get the #1 pick because the worst team hasn't come away with the number one pick since the 2003-2004 Magic.) So what is the Wizards to do now???????

Is it John Wall the freshmen phenom or perhaps the National Player of the year Evan Turner. We don't know yet but we are all excited. In my opinion the Wizards should select John Wall because Wall & Arenas in the backcourt will be the best backcourt in the NBA. But besides John Wall & Evan Turner lets talk about the other prospects in this year's Draft. There players that are sure to go pro like Derrick Favors, Westley Johnson, Greg Monroe, and my favorite college basketball player from this past season Demarcus Cousins. There are others that are getting question about entering this year draft such as Lance Stephenson, Eric Bledsoe, Daniel Orton, and Avery Bradley. O yea and shoutout to Stanley Robinson from UConn (My Favorite College Team) for being ranked number one in the draft among NCAA Juniors ( Via Draftexpress.com http://www.draftexpress.com/rankings/NCAA-Seniors/ .) But as I look at some draft boards I ask myself a few question. Were are so many of this year's top Seniors? Names like Scottie Reynolds, Jerome Dyson, Wayne Chism, and Geirivus Vasques. Well I know we all cant wait until Draft Night. As a Knick's fan let me the first to say I really don't care what we do in the draft because we all know what our main objective is for this off-season. We all can;t wait until draft night but until then there is always good to talk about projections. Check out this mock draft and tell me what ya think and don't forget to follow me on twitter @Zoohood23

What's Next For LeBron

Well Well Well All season I've been hearing about LeBron dis LeBron that. I knew that the Lakers-Cavs Finals wasn't guaranteed after what happened last season. LeBron and the Cavs went down to the Celtics (Or Should I say Ranjo Rando.) Right after the final buzzer sounded in game I started to think LeBron is a Knick. I kinda gave up on LeBron coming to New York but now I think it's very active. First Let me say I am certain I will see Chris Bosh in a Knicks Jersey next season. At first I thought Joe Johnson was also a def Knick as well but when LeBron and the Cavs lost I then had to reconsider. The LeBron Rumors is crazy though I mean LeBron to the Nets because of Jay-Z, LeBron going to the Bulls to follow up Jordan legacy, ughhhhhh just too much. To me Lebron will be a best fit in NY. New York is the City of Dreams. If you can't make it New York you cant make it anywhere. Lebron wouldn't probably be a good fit in New Jersey. He will join Devin Harris and Brook Lopez but not enough players around him. Some people say his best fit will be Chicago. If he goes to Chicago he will be playing wit Derrick Rose and a good Bulls team which could sign D-Wade and then be an unstoppable team in the league. I still want him to come to NY. Just check out the Five: Toney Douglous, Wilson Chandler, LeBron, Gallow, and Bosh. Sounds like a good team to me. Anyway I interviewed some basketball fans on this topic

Point Guards In The Playoffs
Now I don't know if anyone has notice the quality of play of point guards so far in this year playoffs. As always Steve Nash does his part in post-season play but first timers such as Brandon Jennings and Russell Westbrook has also been doing outstanding in the playoffs. There has also been some Point Guards such as Deron Williams, George Hill and Jameer Nelson that have enhanced their play due to the playoffs.

First Lets talk about Westbrook. To me Westbrook is the best Point Guard in this year playoffs. Now some might say Deron Williams but if you watch Westbrook play you see why he is I think he is the best. Westbrook averaged 20.5 PPG to go along with 6.0 RPG and 6.0 APG. Although Westbrook and the Thunder lost to the Lakers in the first round the future looks bright for Westbrook, Durant, and the city of Oklahoma.

Now Deron Williams, some consider him the best PG in the league after his display in the first round of the playoffs. Everyone thought the Jazz wasn't going to make it out the first round due to injuries of Memit Okur and Andre Kirlenko (including me) but D-Will made it possible by averaging 25.3 PPG and 11.3 APG. Pretty impressive I must admit averaging a double-double in this series with former finals MVP Chauncey Billups guarding you. But hats off to D-Will because he lead his team to the second round despite the injuries on his team.

Next is Jameer Nelson. Jameer Nelson is a part of the defending eastern conference champion Orlando Magic. Some considered Nelson the reason why the Magic fell in the Finals to the Lakers last season. This time around Nelson is making sure this is no misunderstanding. Jameer Nelson averages 22.3 PPG in the playoffs so far. He is one of the reasons why the Magic is undefeated so far in the playoffs/ The way Nelson and the Magic is playing makes every team in the east worried about the Magic.

Other PGs such as Brandon Jennings and George Hill has really impressed me. Brandon Jennings is the only rookie starter is this year playoffs. After the Bucks lost star Center Andrew Bogut to a Nasty injury all heads turn to Jennings to lead the young Bucks in to the playoffs. Jennings averaged a 18.7 PPG in his debut series. Jennings and the Bucks forced the Hawks to 7 games but lost. George Hill is another player that caught my attention during the post-season. Hill started for Tony Parker who was just coming back from a broken hand. Everyone suspected the Spurs to lose in the first round saying things like "Their to old." I think George Hill was a key player for the Spurs in that series. He played well averaging 14.3 PPG
Well the second round of the playoffs is well underway so we shall see what will happen through the rest of the post season. Don't forget to follow me @Zoohood23 Till' Next Time......
